DA kommt von Sekunda = Zweite Wahl mit voller Werksgarantie.

Während des Herstellungsprozess kann es vorkommen das Schriftzüge auf den beiden Flanken nicht 100%ig gelingen. Diese Reifen werden dann mit der Zusatzkennzeichnung DA versehen und mit Preisabschlägen verkauft.

Die Kombination DA wird immer auf eine Seitenflanke des Reifens eingebrannt, nie auf die Lauffläche und kann nicht entfernt werden ohne das man eine solche Manipulation sehen könnte.
